Renewable Energy Consumption and Carbon Emissions: Evidence from an Oil-Rich Economy
نویسندگان
چکیده
This article examines the influence of renewable energy consumption, real GDP per capita, exports and imports on consumption-based CO2 emissions in Azerbaijan from 1993 to 2019 by employing Dynamic Ordinary Least Squares Method (DOLS). The results reveal that consumption has a negative impact emissions, while capita positive effect. According findings, 1% increase leads 0.26% decrease rise 0.46% emissions. In addition, show effects respectively. Numerically, 0.18% whereas reduces 0.16%. is consistent with expectations theoretical outcomes described functional specification data section. as well larger effect imports, emphasize necessity implementing ecologically friendly measures both sectors (particularly, need share total use) international trade.

Renewable Energy Consumption, Economic Growth and Co2 Emissions: Evidence from Selected Mena Countries
This paper uses panel cointegration techniques to examine the causal relationship between renewable energy consumption, economic growth and CO2 emissions for a group of 12 MENA countries covering the annual period 1975-2008. The Granger-causality results indicate that there is no causal relationship between these variables in short run except a unidirectional causality running from renewable en...

Textile industry has been playing an important role in the global economy development, international business and trade. In China, textile industry is a traditional pillar industry and an important livelihood industry. The proportion of textile industrial output on GDP has risen to approximately 7% in recent five years. Currently, the ever increasing amount of carbon dioxide emissions, which ha...
متن کاملCausality among Carbon Emissions, Energy Consumption and Growth in India
This study attempts to investigate the long-run Granger causality relationship between energy consumption, carbon dioxide emission and economic growth in India over the period 1971-2007. The augmented Dickey Fuller test (ADF), Phillips-Perron test (PP) and KPSS test are used to test for Granger causality in cointegration models which take account of the stochastic properties of the variables. ...
